These faux copper bracelets are formed directly on your own wrist as they cure for a perfect fit! Because KlayResin cures so quickly, it only takes a few minutes for it to become rigid. Just make sure to leave enough space between the two ends of your cuff bracelet—at least 1½ inches (3.8cm)—so you can take it off after it hardens. Play around with different textures, embellishments, and sizes to make a variety of interesting, one-of-a-kind cuffs. KlayResin is a great base for the metallic effect in these bracelets because the clay itself has a slight metallic shine. The faux-copper clay was enhanced by brushing a shiny metallic acrylic paint onto the high areas of the textured piece. This technique can be used to create a metallic finish for any color of clay. For a variation, you can embellish your cuff with a small decorative object, such as a coin or charm cast from an original piece (see Molding Scrap Clay).
